February 28-29, 2004: Foia, Alvor Praia
After spending the evening and the night on Foia (1115 m) with
wonderful views over all the Algarve, we drove down on the next day to
Monchique and finally to Alvor Praia where we enjoyed a stroll on the
beach.

Nachdem wir den Nachmittag und die Nacht auf Foia (1115 m) verbracht
haben, sind wir runter nach Monchique und anschließend nach Alvor
Praia runter gefahren. Dort haben wir einen sehr schönen Spaziergang
am Strand entlang gemacht.

March 27-28, 2004: Vila Real de Santo António,
Castro Marim
Drive to Praia do Cabeço near Montegordo. Overnight stay at the
pier of Praia de Santo António next to the town of Vila Real de
Santo António on the Guadiana River next to the border to Spain. On
the next day we stopped in Castro Marim and we had the surprise of a
religious procession going. Overnight on the main parking lot of Castro
Marim.
27.-28.03.04: Vila Real de Santo António, Castro Marim
Fahrt an die Praia do Cabeço bei Montegordo. Übernachtung
am Pier der Praia de Santo António bei der Stadt Vila Real de Santo
António am Guadiana-Fluss vor der Grenze zu Spanien. Am nächsten
Tag haben wir einen Stopp bei Castro Marim eingelegt. Erst sind wir hoch
zu der Burgruine, wo man immer rein gehen kann. Die andere schließt
um 17 Uhr. Als wir zurück kamen, gab es eine Prozession, die
beeindruckend war. Übernachtung auf dem Hauptparkplatz von Castro
Marim.

Portugal mit Spanien. Diese Region umfasst die Reserva Natural Castro

Castro Marim and its famous fortress; we were lucky to be able to join
a procession in Castro Marim. Die berühmte Burg bei Castro Marim;
wir haben Glück gehabt, an einer Prozession in Castro Marim teilhaben
zu können.
April 28-29, 2004: Feria de Sevilla
Drive to the campground of Sevilla with our friends Monika &
Christian. On the next day, we took a cab into Sevilla where we enjoyed a
day and an evening full of colors, music, women wearing their best
flamenco dress, decorated horses, etc. on the premisses of the Feria de
Sevilla.
28.-29.04.04: Feria de Sevilla
Fahrt direkt zum Campingplatz von Sevilla mit unseren Freunden Monika
und Christian. Wir haben einen ganzen Tag und Abend die fröhliche
Atmosphäre mit den vielen Farben, die Musik, die Frauen mit ihren
Flamenco-Kleidern, die verzierte Pferdekutschen, etc. genossen.

April 30, 2004: Sevilla - Itálica
Drive from Sevilla to a large excavation site from the Roman time called
Itálica. Overnight stay at the Praia de Adão e Eva. Back
home on May 1st.
